A few years ago, I walked away from what truly was a dream job at Altium. I lived and worked in beautiful La Jolla, CA, doing work that was both meaningful and perfectly aligned with my skills. And yes, it paid well, too.
For five amazing years, I served as Director of Marketing and Head of Community Engagement, working alongside a world-class marketing team. Together, we launched AltiumLive, the OnTrack Podcast, and the OnTrack Newsletter. On the side, I ran our academic outreach program, connecting with engineering students across the globe. I even got to cover SpaceX’s Hyperloop competition for 3 years running, overseen by Elon Musk himself.
It was a career highlight I’ll always be grateful for.

But then COVID hit, and like so many, I saw the parts of my role I loved most stripped away. By December 2021, it was time for a change.
I had a dream: to build something new from the pieces I loved best—serving engineers through great content, expert insights, and a vibrant, supportive community. I envisioned a fresh platform where engineers could self-educate, grow professionally, and learn from the industry's top minds.
So, I took a deep breath, tapped into my savings, and bootstrapped the launch of The EEcosystem podcast through industry sponsorships. Honestly, it felt crazy at first. Like most startups, it was exhilarating, terrifying… and deeply personal.
Fast forward to today, and this moment makes it all feel worth it...
