We know that “T” parameters can be easily cascaded to get the total of single structures, but adding S-parameters is a different issue that requires conversion (Math matrix). Can someone respond to this thread how cascading can be done in ADS? Does ADS convert two cascaded “touch tone files” directly?
Example: A cable and two connectors – 3 elements. Furthermore, a PCB and its connector for external interfaces. This is a very important topic because what are available by vendors are discrete "s" parameters files of cables, connectors, including capacitors for VRM banks important to figure Target impedances. Many times, we need to estimate the signal budget links in cables end-to end.
