sPoE / PoDL with audio instead of a DC bias

Is it feasible to combine (and extract) a Single Pair Ethernet (differential) signal with a (single ended) audio signal ? Paraphrased, can the IEEE 10Base-T1L standard be used with its optional Power over Data Line (PoDL / sPoE) feature, but have the data riding on a audio signal, instead of a DC bias ? The design intent is to leverage the ultra noise immune PAM4 encoding, on traditional guitar cabling (or less ideal - one pair within CAT5) and typical 1/4" mono connector and maintain the original audio functionality, along with adding 10 Mbps full duplex network connectivity, to the same two pieces of copper.

Hi Davy, thanks for starting to conversation. Since we just launched the Masterclass yesterday, it may take a couple weeks to get these conversations going. I will do my best to push some people to your post so you can get some input. Thanks for joining--and starting the "conversation!" Judy
